One more in favor of Lowering.

Well I did it. The Gold Line springs went in without a hitch and it looks great. I can't believe the difference. It is exactly what I was looking for. This should be the last of my mods for a while except for the advertising graphics going on Tuesday. So far I have changed the grill with a mesh grill and inserted a replica hood ornament as some of you already have. I also used the idea of the Chevrolet Thriftmaster hood emblems from the gallery as well. I added the rear wing to give it a little extra which combined with the chrome package really makes it. The vent visors over the windows made a big difference for noise with the windows down as well as giving a nice look. I put in a HHR third brake cover as well as the chrome exhaust tip. !8" American Racing wheels and Toyo Proxes FZ4 tires complete the well filling. You people have been a great help with inspirations and ideas. Technical help is first rate. Great job. Thanks

Thumbs up very nice!

VERY NICE! Are those the leveling springs or a full lowering kit? I recently had the Gold-Line leveling springs installed, and I LOVE THEM! You're HHR is lookin' SHARP!

Thanks a lot. Love the white HHR. I tried to get mine in white but opted for the Blue as a second thought. The lowering springs are a full kit, all four wheels. I am happy to say that there is very little difference in ride quality but I do have a little bit of a rattle on certain bumps. I am going to try installing some spring loom on the lower loops on Monday. Thanks for the compliment.
Mark.

Looks good! I'm going to assume that the lower pic is a before shot. Now watch your rear tires for rubbing. I have the first version of the goldlines and I had to roll my fenders because my 18's had some minor rubbing. Not sure about these new ones though. Just keep an eye on it, especially with full cargo or adults sitting in the back...

The first picture is after the lowering springs were installed. The bottom picture is a before shot. Thanks for the heads up on the tires.

Looking good...I am a fan of the mesh grille look and I hope to get one myself soon.

Thanks. I had seen them sold as a single unit but I couldn't see spending that much money. Look around and you can save 300.00 or so. Good luck.
