giving this a bump........

this past weekend me and big group of friends met up down in Tennessee to take on the Tail of the Dragon and Devil's Triangle........ had an absolute BLAST!!

these YYZ springs combined with a Powell Race Shop hardcore rear sway bar gave my HHR SS the handling it needed to slay the dragon with ease! it was very planted to the road and allowed for higher turn in & out speeds that just wasn't there when i was on Pedders or stock springs.

Pedders may drop a bit more BUT they suck compared to these.

for all out performance with a mild drop (5/8-3/4" all around) nothing beats the YYZ springs. if you're only worried about the drop, save up the money and get coilovers.

i hear that these springs arent recommended for the fe5 suspension...john powell says you need some koni sport shocks or whatever they are called and get the revalved every so often..thats ridiculous, why is that? Anyone else running these on fe5's?

where did you "hear" that?

that's ONLY if you plan to track your vehicle. i'm currently on stock HHR SS struts & shocks (FE5) and they're perfectly fine for every day driving, which what you're planning to do.

i thought i've covered this with you before.
