Putting in a straight axle and tri4link
your supposed to drive them? haha. yeah the bike is mine i built it about 2 years ago. that pic was right after i finished it. i covered the seat and made a bag for the front since then. thanks
. but after seeing all the work involved in 4-linking the rear... maybe i'm just gonna stick to the setup i got for now. keep up the great work, and i cant wait to see the final results.
all the work? what else do i have to do? im doing it because the 2 link doesnt work well with adjustable suspension. i have wanted to do this for a long time just didnt have an excuse. that was until i pulled through an inclined driveway at an angle and bent the 2 link.
thats where the 4 link comes in. it will still be pretty stable but also have the flex i want. the front sway bar will stay.
the upper bars are what you can see in the pic #2 they will mount to the xmember they are laying on up front and ill make tabs to mount to the axle. from front to back they are triangulated around 40degrees. the lower bars will be parallel and mout where the 2link did before
it wll lay out on the bumper in the back and should get decent lift. so i will be doing some crazy stuff to get gas into the tank and exhaust out the rear. oh yeah and also a built in ice chest for the car shows in the new spare tire tub.
