^ and it would have cost about a 1/10th the price
Im still debating on doing a bag kit on the SS or trying out a full AWD swap.

Where would you get the PTO for the rear drive (does Saab have a Getrag or other that bolts up to the LNF?)? Or are you talking about yanking the current drivetrain in full?

There was a guy in northern ontario that planned to turn his ion into a turbo awd, but when the insurance company found out it was turbo'd be backed off and sold the car.

His plan was to install a saturn vue awd drive train. something like that might work for you.

Or if you decide to bag it. I have easy street struts for sale . They came off my ion (same body style as a hhr). I am installing hydros, thats why i switched.

On a side note, with the axle and tri link, how low do you plan on getting the back? Last time I saw pictures it sat fairly level when aired out. Are you planning to go lower then before? if so what about the front end?

aye garage, just curious (don't know muck about 4links ) how much side to side articulation (left bag up- right bag down) is that setup going to allow for. or are you gonna go ahead and hook up both rear bags to the same valve? i know heim joint setups get crazy movement, but i'd be worried about lateral swing. great progress so far, cant wait to see how low she sits

Wow, I really admire what you're doing there. But am I understanding this right? You went through all that only to put drums back on?
