here is the shock set up. with this the stock shock can be used even though it only gets around 4.5" of travel. should get about 7" out of it.

saw this on street source. so whats left? trim this and that, paint and close the floor back up? I want to see this thing back on its wheels.

yeah Adam i have alot more. i need to move the bags a little. finish welding the notch and gusset it. gusset the upper bars. i need to finish the floor and run exhaust and the gas filler neck. and clean it all up and paint it.

ballplr, i was in the middle of doing the cut and buff on the paint, so it should shine back up. and i dont really care about disks in the rear. if i was doing a show car or running big wheels i may do it but i didnt feel like paying for the swap

thanks Tracy it would be done by now but i gotta squeeze in time when i can now with a wife and 2 kids......or three kids if you want to call it that. it will be nice to drive again

Will those pillow block bearings handle the load of a suspension? Those were made for drive shafts and conveyors.

Seriously, I dont think those bearing housings will hold up to shock. One good speed bump and the housing will shatter. For safety sake I think you should consider replacing that with a standard bushing and stamped metal housing.
