Rear spring question

My 2006 rear springs have a cushion on the spring hanging out. I want to replace my springs with some Moog CC81063 but I don’t see this cushion being available. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don’t know if the picture shows it but the spring is broken at the bottom coil. Just like some of the other ones I have seen posted on here.

Have you tried GM? It is called a "spring seat".

Amazon Amazon

Actually that looks like part of the "jounce bumper".

The spring seat is the plastic disc on the bottom. His picture seems to show the foam disc that goes on top with the jounce bumper.

That foam ring isn’t available any longer , I cut a replacement out of a piece of closed foam floor pads, it lasted about 2 years.

There is an after market upper that I bought and installed when I put on the Cobalt rear springs about a year ago.
It is made of a soft solid rubber like material.
I am not sure if I can find the info but when I have time I will look and post it.

I also think the GM upper "might" still be available when you purchase the jounce bumper. Call GM parts and ask.
They are a piece of Junk but better then nothing.
Replace the lower one for sure. It is a hard Plastic.

Well , I replaced my springs, seats and jounce bumpers. Seats and moog springs were cheap but the GM upper bumpers were pricey. The right spring was broken on the bottom coil and the left was broken on the top of the coil. The hardest part was removing the bottom plastic spring seat. All in all it took about an hour.
hopefully it will cure the clunking in the rear.
