Repainting Repainting Brembo's and installing on SS. PICTURES!
I'm guessing this guy did it as well. I have the same rear calipers as he does.

Well according to that thread, if you have the correct Cobalt brackets, then they may just work.
Just won't work with the stock HHR brackets.
Thanks for all your input George.
Is there a way to replace the rear mechanism from the original caliper and install it on the cobalt one? The Cobalt SS ebrake line is in a different place than the original hhr caliper.
Sorry I can't answer your question, but I have a thought about a related, possibly unforeseen, issue. The spare tire will not fit over the front Brembos. If it doesn't fit over these larger rear brakes, then you will need a different spare. Hope you get this going!
Like Donbrew suggested above.
Fwiw. Doing any "mod" like this using non stock parts is always a trial and error adventure. Until you do a trial fit (have you even tried bolting them up for fitment yet ? ), you are still doing a modification.
That wouldn't be the way to go. Leave the calipers intact the way they were made. Then modify the cable mounts and/or cables to work.

Thanks!
BREMBO's installed but, I've decided not to install the rears because I would have to modify certain things and rotors were too deep and I didn't want to deal with it. I still don't understand why the HHR rear is different than the Cobalt since it's the same chassis.
HERE ARE THE PICTURES!! Don't mind the Chevy SS Sedan, she's a bit dirty :)
