Springs

so i was thinking the other day that the back end needs to be lowered the most (in my opinion) and heard a few people have switched to the cobalt ss springs. What i am wondering is whats the difference (if any) between the cobalt ss and the hhr ss springs? difference in height? ride quality?

The new yyz springs from powell are slightly lower than the hhr ss springs and ride better than other aftermarket springs. I have the canuck motorsports springs and find them a little harsh over bumps.
The cobalt ss springs changed in 2008 and became a little firmer for the tc, you would want the newer ones, might find used ones locally for cheap.
Heres some cheap older ss/sc springs, they lower the rear, but I found them a little soft. Not sure how far you are from brantford, but the seller is a good guy.

Thats what i currently have. Cobalt sc rear springs. They really tightnened the rear up. Ride rougher than i though but not to harsh. Dropped mine rear end about one and a quarter inch.

I put HHR SS springs on my 2LT panel, with the Fe3 shocks, dropped it a bunch and it rides great.

You can do that but it will ride higher, by about a half inch. This has SS fe5.
