Think yours is fe3. The 5 is stiffer, but refined, compared to pedders.

How much did you trim from the bump stops? CM doesn't offer any instruction with the new springs. I may call ray tomorrow and ask them.

As posted by Shroogis earlier: The springs rates for a Cobalt is just over a 100 lbs. lower that a HHR-SS. That makes the cobalt spring softer, will ride softer, but not handle corners as well. The cobalt spring in a HHR-SS is sure to make it ride lower.
A 100 lbs. difference in spring rate is a lot, and will definately affect the handling. "Moon"

They are a good moderate upgrade from the stock ls/LT springs. They are a bit lower and stiffer but still fairly comfortable. Combined with a rear anti-roll bar they make the hhr handle like amore performance oriented vehicle.

Well worth the install, great improvement in handling when combined with the rear sway bar. And easy to do.

I've tried a couple of GM part websites, they tell me the Cobalt SS/TC rear springs are on national back order.
Want to use the p/n 25821162 for my SS.
