Not sure what your definition of "too stiff" is but the TTR bar feels just right on my SS. Nothing harsh about it's effect that I can tell, it just leveled the cornering out quite dramatically.

something I need to look into also. How long did it take some of you to install?

I have the Progress bar and it almost took longer to read the directions then install. Real simple and no modifications to do. Just bolt in and play.

Another step in the right direction is at least leveling the Panel..
+ (of course) the sway Bar.

I used '09 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs to level mine. BIG improvement..They are firmer than the 'Balt SS-SC earlier springs..But almost same as my OE 'FE3 Sport-tuned rear springs' were, maybe a bit tighter. Which is what I wanted...Since I haul stuff too..

Did you have to cut the springs to lower it?

Bob-

No cutting, just simple R&R, the 09 cobalt SS/TC rear Coil springs are 1" lower than my FE3 springs. & that's just how much they lowered the rear, which is all I needed to "level it" & sway bar is next..

I got em from GMParts online $31. ea. + shipping= $74. to my door, for the pair
GM Part # 25821162

Yep, TTR Sway Bar and 09 Cobalt SS/TC Springs really do a number. HHR is exactly leveled out, sticks really well. By chance, I came across a set of Fuzion FZ1 tires in 45 series and wanted to put them on for winter-better traction that Firestones that came with it. Took a mildly banked, 270 degree ramp from I-77N to I-480W in Cleveland at 85MPH last night. Tripped the TracCntl light for a second, but the HHR never moved. Best $$ spent so far. Thanks TTR and GM Parts Direct!

Sorry to ask and it may seems newbish but did you also need to lower the front or did it level it out. I got a 07 1LT which I've been wanting to lower.
Thanks.
