Any time you replace front end parts, an alignment should be done. Did you have it aligned ?

As far as the TC/ESC lights. Sounds like the hub sensor wiring is not reinstalled correctly or it got damaged during the work done.

I recently replaced my LCAs. The toe was so off that the tires showed inside wear in less than 1,000 miles. I figure this was because I had the alinement done last year and the guy didn't bother to tell me about the bad bushings.

Basically; if the front end has ever been alined you will need to have it re alined if you change any parts. Theoretically the alinement never should need changing the worn parts should be replaced instead.

The TCS light may have something to do with the steering wheel being off-centered. I can't figure how it got turned though.

donbrew yes i am thinking the same i did not move any of the steering parts . But the car was in a wreck last year and the passside front wheel hit rear wheel of the other car and they had to replace sensor and hub and do a alignement and the wheel was still off and had to take it back so maybe they reset it and went the other way with it and now that the A arms been replaced it need to go the other way? will get it aligned monday i hope.

That's pretty much my story. I hit a curb bad enough that the car wouldn't drive straight, had it alined, one year later walked by the car and noticed the Camber on one side was noticeable, replaced LCAs toe was waaay off. One of the bushings was torn in the center, the other had cracks on the outer edge.

And to add to my problem; When I bought it the steering wheel was about 2-5 degrees off, so I removed the wheel and reset it one tooth off center. You may want to pop the airbag off and look at the marks on the steering wheel and shaft (they should line up).

Well took the hhr in for a frontend alignment and it fixed the steering wheel being off from the wheels/tires but still hade codes. Drove it into work tonight and code cleared.

so if it doesn't pull left or right while going down the road, everything is back to normal!
good to see!
