Welcome
If you can't find a new one, then maybe look for one in a wrecking yard.

Thank you I have checked many wrecking yards inventory
but so far No luck . I did find one in Fort Wayne but they told me someone cut the cable to get at something else . They also went on to tell me that the car was recently crushed ! if anyone knows of any at a wrecking yard I would be very grateful .

Hi thanks , i have tried many of the GM part sites including the one you sent ( thanks much appreciated) only to wait several days after paying , only to find out the part is unavailable and refund my credit card . Seems these sites simply order from GM and get the same result . I spoke to a representative at GM parts giant and he checked the GM data base world wide and said there are none in stock anywhere ! My only hope is that the originsl supplier will be asked by GM to reproduce a number of these cables as I am sure Iam not the only one who needs this part .

Just the 3 years of SS 2.0 litre 5 speed turbocharged.
the Cobalts where different
According to ZZP

https://zzperformance.com/products/shifter-cables

their part number for the Cobalt 2.0 SS will work with the LNF .

https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...cable-10383794

now I suggest calling ZZP or Tasca to see if this is myth or unicorn!

If if it fits and works ! Unicorn!

Finally some good news. I found out that GM
has several back orders for the hhr ss shift cable and will be
making more sometime in October . The part should be available by mid November . I just have to drive my LT til then
hope the winter weather holds off long enough so I can get one more ride in the SS this year .

how did you obtain this information? i spoke with gm corporate directly and they even opened up a special case to investigate this issue , but the specialist that contacted me was absolutely worthless and had no idea on a course of action
