2008 solenoid B stuck open code for transmission

This car will not shift into 3rd or 4th gear.

I replaced both solenoids with parts from the dealer, filter and dex6.

There was no metal in the fluid and it did not smell burnt.

The issue is still there. Any ideas?

Thank you.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I have it at a shop where it seems the guy has the equipment to run each component through its needed tests.

If anyone else wants to take a guess, feel free. I will post back whatever solution I hopefully get to soon.

The only good part is that I pulled that front valve cover off and cleaned in there. The front valve cover gets a lot of dirt in the bottom of it. It's probably much better than just pulling and cleaning the bottom pan alone. What a job for an old man on the hard concrete. Ouch. I didn't leave any flesh anywhere though. :) Have a good night.

Guesses are usally expensive, I would have guessed to pull any codes and checked relays and fuses, and I guess I would have checked out the ground wires for a clean and tight connection.

Welcome to the site!

Shop said all electrictial checked out okay and that it needed a new, Rebuilt or Used.

My buddy said the input sensor was not within specs.
I put in 7 qts. Dex 6, but it did not come out the check hole. It might be a bit low. It also had a lot of fiber in the fluid when I dropped the pan.

My plan is to top it off with an additive.

If still no go I will pull the tranny and disassemble it looking for the problem, clog, bad clutch disks, broken piston or seals, replace the bad stuff and reassemble.
I don't trust rebuilds or used ones unless I see for myself that the doner car died for another reason.

I still hurt. and now more....

Where did the ATF go? I think a drop pan refill takes a fraction more than 7 Qts. I don't remember for sure seems like 7.5, maybe.

I remember 6.7 litres for a pan drop filter and fluid change so that would be 7 US quarts
