69,000 miles and synchros gone
Hib, I notice on the forum than Chevy changed their manual trans fluid spec from their "special" lube to an ATF type lube around 2008.
Just curious, did you have shifting problems before you put the Redline Superlight Shockproof Gear Lube in??
Redline spec per their website now is to use their ATF stuff not the MTL-90 etc.
I still have the OE factory stuff in my 2007 HHR at around 70,000 miles but it is a slow balking shifting trans and I've been tempted to try some Redline MTL-90 I have on the shelf.
