Automatic shifter interlock solenoid?

Well I have been going Almost 2 years with my 09 Hhr automatic running flawlessly.
Pulled in the driveway and it would not come out of park.
Checked and the shift solenoid stopped working on the automatic shifter assembly.
Anyone know if that particular solenoid is available?
Also any tricks on getting the shifter assembly four bolts out without them falling down.
I see no area on two of the bolts to hold the bolts up?
I am guessing I am looking at replacing the whole shifter assembly if I cannot find the solenoid.

The search will help you a lot with how to s and pics.

Try "shifter stuck". or similar.

I don't know what you are doing different, since whopper and I both found lots of threads. ("stuck shifter" yields 131 threads including this thread, 285 in Web & Images, 204 in posts.)

You are on the desktop site? And you can see "SEARCH" in the big box top center of every page, right?

If you are on the mobile site (a phone or a pad) you may need to choose "web" or "site".
But in that case you can also choose "View Full Site" by scrolling to the bottom of the page.

I hate that mobile view, and always scroll down to the bottom to select the Full site.

I checked those threads out.
The issue I was having was the solenoid switch.
I found that even if you do not put anything under the 4 bolts for the shifter assembly they will not fall out of the bottom of the plastic housing beneath the shifter assembly. Sometimes I over analyze these things. This really is a piece of cake removing the shifter assembly.

Sometimes it sounds harsh to see instructions for websites, but these guys know that's the best way to give you as much info as possible without missed info.
Glad to see you got it fixed!
