Clutch master issues

So the master keeps pushing out of the fire wall. Anyone ever have this kind of issues?

The guy that had it before me was pushing the clutch pedal so hard that he bent the fire wall tabs. Anyone ever run into this?

i found a 1 3/8” chain link fence tension band fits around the master in the inside and seemed to work for a few months.

im just getting tired of every few weeks having to re do it. It’s a PITA to get to and bend the tabs back since they cracked from being pushed so hard before I got the vehicle.

anyone know where I can find a factory original clutch master?

Welcome to the site, there was a mounting plate issue for the clutch master cylinder, I’m have a look in the archives for a picture, and the repair kit , I think it was a double plate set up one on the inside and another in the engine side of the firewall

found it!

This was my solution when I auto to manual swapped, it only costed a couple dollars and I imagine it holds the master cylinder a lot better than factory and the one posted above
