Do I need to upgrade tranny and/or clutch?
I'm doing the cam job, ZZP supercharger stage 2 kit, short-shifter and full exhaust and others. Can the 2006 2.4 5-speed tranny/clutch handle this or am I going to need to upgrade here or elsewhere as well?

I'm an Auto trans, but you Manual guys NEED to upgrade your Clutch with the SC install. Most guys on the Cobalt forums have burned the oem clutch up very very Quickly, like within a month or so.
So plan on a new upgraded clutch right along with the performance mods your doing. Just part of the cost of more HP.
Our auto trans hold up pretty darn good from what I have read.
