The Hippo does not go forward (but!... goes backwards).
Hi guys.
Hippo is seriously ill. Automatic transmission with a high probability ate.
Symptoms:
1. There are no codes, the check does not burn;
2. There is no forward movement;
3. If the car moves forward at least a little (from a hill or shove by hands), when you press the gas, the movement forward is supported, but this is not significant and I feel that there is no traction;
4. The rear gear is working as usual, without complaints.
How did it happen:
It happened unexpectedly and rather everyday.
I'm going home from the gas station, I do not exceed the speed. There are no brightly exposed extraneous sounds, there are no jerks or sticking to the road. The automatic transmission switches as usual, the speed of acceleration and further movement is also normal. I stop at a traffic light - softly, without sound, without a jerk. I see green light, I press on the gas pedal and ... the engine yells, the Hippo does not go forward. At first I thought that I accidentally converted the selector into the "neutral" mode - the sensations are exactly the same. But no - the selector in the "drive" mode.
Fortunately, the Hippo and this time behaved like a gentleman. He cheerfully ran almost to the home and stuck 200 meters from the parking place. Thus, having released the brake pedal, I waited for a slight movement forward(perhaps there is a slope or an option of easy movement forward when unlocking the brake pedal still functions) and, adding gas and maintaining movement, got to the parking lot.
What is the reason? What to do?
I don’t know what the matter can be.
I have two thoughts: either it was something inside the selector, or my solenoids died and went to the GM paradise.
Honestly, this is for the first time with me. I do not know how dying solenoids behave and I do not know what happens when the solenoids are completely dead.
I did not find on the forum someone who received the same problem. But I found a bunch of video to replace solenoids - I hope I will not need this video.
In short, the most urgent question is: that this happened. fcuk! And how to diagnose and treat the patient?
A competent opinion is required from you guys. Thanks in advance.

thought about it...
there are no puddles under the bottom, no smudges, no traces of transmission fluid are visible in the antifreeze either (although I don’t know how these traces might look ... if the foam is like from engine oil, then everything is definitely fine).

but it confuses the fact that before stopping at a traffic light the car ran perfectly, and I did not switch the selector during the stop. Logically, the Drive was activated and continued to be active after stopping, only the brake was applied and held pressed while stopped at a traffic light.
Interestingly, after pressing the brake but with the selector in the "Drive" position, the solenoids are turned off?
Or maybe a clutch? Frictions are to blame?
I’d start with fluid level, you mentioned no leaks , puddles, but have you added any fluid?
then , I suggest a battery lobotomy, reboot the TCM and other computers.
while the negative cable is off the battery, clean and inspect the TCM connector for loose pins, corrosion and dirt.

No, buddy , I didn't check the liquid level and didn't add any liquid.
you know it's not that easy...
but I'll do it as soon as I get the opportunity.
about the reboot - it's a good idea, I'll do it tomorrow (it's already night with us). If it helps, I'll be just happy.
There is bad news, one guy writes that the symptoms are similar to getting antifreeze in the automatic transmission. If so, I have real problems, big expenses.

Only one way to get antifreeze into the transmission, that’s thru the cooling tube in the radiator, if that’s the case you’ll just drain the transmission, change transmission filter and coolant, replace the radiator.
If you remove the transmission fluid level check plug and lots of fluid comes out, it could be that cooling pipe has corroded through.
You have a 2006, so then you might have the external engine oil cooler , that might be rotted out also, allowing coolant into the engine oil.
