Question P0741 Torque Converter stuck off code after replacing solenoids

2006 HHR 2.4
So I went through all the work and replaced all the solenoids (except the TCC solenoid, they were back ordered and I forgot to go back and get one at the time of the repair, also had no codes indicating any issue with it), I also put in new synthetic trans fluid and trans filter. Before I brought the car into the garage to do the repair on the 2-3 solenoid, I didn't have a P0741 code. After the repair, now I do.

Trans fluid level was double checked and is correct, and there's no shuddering or any indication anything is wrong, other than check engine light/code on scanner. The cars shifts better than it ever has. Should I pull it back apart and replace the TCC solenoid, it seems fine, will this cause permanent damage to the tranny?

It's my kids car and he wants to take it on a short road trip (6 hour drive) I'm worried it will fry the trans. Any thoughts?

I recommend not driving it , risking transmission failure

It’s part of the joys of being a car guy! Inspect the electrical connections closely. And be careful with lubing the o rings on the TCC.

You don't have 4th gear without the TCC. The code turns it off. Long trip in 3rd would be quite irritating not really damaging, except for high RPMs.
