So I brought my battery with me to pick up the new one. They load tested it and said it was good.

So with some daylight I found the ignition fuse blown #45. I replaced it and it won't blow but the still won't turn over. I'm trying the key relearn thing as I type. I don't think that's it judging by the directions they give you to do it....my security light doesn't stay on for more than 5 seconds

So an update on this thing. I got it towed to a shop. The mechanic there started messing with some things. weird notes....The blower switch changes the lights on the dash. wipers don't work. Blinkers don't work. Ignition fuse keeps blowing

Dead short somewhere , or a trashed starter solenoid

My bet is a loose or frayed wire in the waterfall causing either a short or a errant connection.

So the mechanic tried for a while. Seems to think it's the bcm (awesome). Meanwhile I tried pushing it into a spot for him and it won't shift out of park....key is stuck in the ignition. Oh and the doors won't lock. So my radio may be gone by the morning:-/

The big question is: what made the BCM break?
The BCM is pretty cheap. I hope that's it. Used ones less than $100, I don't know about programming, it may be a bowl of worms.

I just might have to pay a stealership to get it all straightened out. Has to be programmed by dealer

The kid "tested" it at the auto parts store ....he said it's fine. Maybe I shouldn't believe him? I mean he look 14. Could barely pick up the battery. The thing that's weird is that I can't get it to turn over with a jump either.

Dead cell in the battery, take it back and have it load tested
