Uh oh. Sounds like it's time to find a new shop with "real" mechanics.
It's at one of the biggest dealers in WNY...I don't get it

Bigger ain't always better.

I went to 4 or 5 dealers in my area looking to get the GMTU installed. Only 2 of these Chevy dealers had even heard of it.
I don't have much confidence in "dealers". That's usually what they are. Dealers, not fixers.

I will say there are probably a few somewhere around the country that actually have some good techs. I just haven't found them. At least not in my area.

If all has been checked and confirmed for power to the starter , my next place to check out would be the ignition switch itself, to confirm and eliminate it or confirm it requires replacement!
Did you want me to drive over and take you to the dealer!
I'm kinda like a dawg after a bunny rabbit I keep chasing until I find it!

Thanks for the offer oldblue:-).

So the dealer says the ECU is fried. They ordered one and hope to have it in today. Car may be done this evening. Does a new ECU mean I need to get returned? I assume I lose my trifecta with this repair

Let me guess, phone autocorrect? I think returned is suppose to be re-tuned.

Yeah my thoughts to LawDog88, and yes the tune will be factory, so a re-tune is required,
Give CJ a call and see what you need to do if you already have the software and cable

Yes re-tuned. Auto correct got me.

I had purchased the budget tune straight from trifectas website. I'll try and get a hold of them tonight. I don't have a cable I returned it

?????? Say what! Their diagnostic genius made a mistake and now you have to pay for it!
I'm still thinking ignition switch is fried!
Hmm I'm off to Popeyes for some spicy fried chicken now that's what fried is supposed to be!
