New Rant! I'm heading to Atlanta for business next week, and I find out that Year One is sponsoring a big show. Year One was given an HHR when they first came out, customized it, put in a supercharged V8, turned it inro a panel with custome paint. This was featured on the show "Rides".
My rant is that their show has a class for 2001 + PT Cruisers. Why isn't this class expanded to "Modern Retro" including HHR. All the other classes are vintage, excetpt 79-to presnt Mustangs. I think I'll send Year One a link to this rant!

Off topic, but I'm also heading to Atlanta next week (May 19-23). I even got approved to drive my own car. I'll get a whopping 28.5/mile rate.
(At least the comes out to $8.55 for ever 30 miles)

WOW! I leave for 2 weeks, get home, thinking I left the rowdy grandkids behind, log in here, and ................ well, it was interesting reading anyway.
Glad everyone is chilled out. Spring is coming - go out and get some great photos of your rides. Jonyy has a few weeks before he needs to get new rulings out to us.

remember gang, if you have any rants, suggestions and or complaints about the featured voting spotlight, this is the thread to do it in and not in the featured voting thread. This is the proper place to do it in.

bucks win... admit it

no adds or commercials
stock - no mods... no paint, wheels, addons or engine modifcations... the car and pose wins... kind of a newbee class

street - minor changes in paint, wheels, engine and suspention - four modifications or less

custom - more than four modifications... let the rich one duke it out

makes me nervous when people think they are more equal than others. senority only counts at work and the military... not on public forums. the idea is to make new member feel like they are part of the group... not haze or beat them in

On the voting thread just the submission thread link by username, no sample pic. Reason why I think this is needed is people are voting on just the sample pic alone instead of researching the canidates.

are we voting for the car or the person... or is the car the canidate?

until a couple of days ago i only had few posts??? the post i have now are mostly real post not games. a person can sit around for a while peeking a thread and not posting so the idea that number of posts by a person should count
