I think he was referring to the announcement that the new camaro is the last production rwd coming out of GM. They've halted all development of new RWD vehicles.

What about the Mitsubishi and Subaru turbo 4WD cars. They still have a front transaxel handling all that power.

Don't Subaru's have a transfer case not a transaxle?

Ihad the ss/sc cobalt before my HHR and the front end barely could handle the stage 2 upgrade. The clutch definitley couldnt. Also wheel hop on the cobalt was a serious issue with people using ingalls or different motor mounts so ibelive they want to bring the drivetrain to handle this and it may take some modified parts .
