But Wait--what does that email say? From the Dealer? It's IN ???!!!

I never even thought notification would be via email in lieu of telephone--could it really be true??

Congrats on your RED SS.
When I ordered my '06 2Lt I oredered Sept.9 2005 arrived at dealersheip Dec. 22 2005 and picked it up Dec. 24.
GM is getting better at getting HHRs to the dealers.

Part of the delay was sitting in Mexico for over 2 months because of lack of rail cars being used to clear cars out after Katrina.

I just went through a whole dialogue about my ride on the Tom's thread. I know, wrong place.
So, Greg, did your dealer throw you a curve on the price?
Instead of my factory invoice price, they gave me the GM Supplier price which came with a $1000 rebate. I don't know if that means I got factory invoice or not. Thing is it was about $2000 over my dealers last best estimate. Plus I was handled by another sales guy instead of the guy who I have been in contact with this whole time. Then they financed me at 6.9%.
The SS is a real surprise when it is on the move. You are at 70 before you know it.
Gonna show mine off at work today.
