I bought an 08 with the 2.2 and I have no complaints so far. Once the little thing is revving it really moves. I drove an S-10 Blazer with a 4.3 in it for years and the power to weight seems better in the HHR. If I wanna go fast I just get on my Triumph Daytona 675. It has 123 or so HP and weighs under 400 pounds!!!

 

I had a 06 with the 2.4 and now have a 09 with the 2.2, can't really tell much difference. They aren't the fastest things on the road but they are the coolest!
