Looking for advice on timing chain kit for daughter-in-laws car. It says it is 2013 and it has 2.4 engine. Front chain guide she tells me has piece broke off so thinking time do the chain job.
Other than GM….what brand kits have you guys had good success with?

Cloyes 9-4201SA timing chain kit doesn’t include camshaft sprockets but does include crankshaft sprocket

I bought a chinanium kit and put in my hhr…coarse I only got about 100000 put of water pump and crank seal before had to change those 2

 

My China kit lasted 20,000 miles and stretched out

This sag gave me codes

 

So far mine seems to be ok. Just can’t remember the brand name…lol
