How long does it take to work? Without cooling will it be a problem?

I’m thinking just run it through the gears around the block to flush out the fluid and drop the pan and filter again, so 14 to 21 quarts 2 or 3 gaskets and filters, and an afternoon of prayer for the rest of the transmission and torque converter to flush out!
I wonder how well it would work to run a line into a pail and another to a jug of transmission fluid to the cooler lines?
That might cook the clutches and the pump!

We used to pull the line coming out and run it into a graduated 5 gallon catch bucket pouring ATF in at about the same rate. Works well.

We used to pull the line coming out and run it into a graduated 5 gallon catch bucket pouring ATF in at about the same rate. Works well.
​​​​​​​That is exactly the way ATF exchange machines work with a "flush & fill".
