You ask for one for a 2010 HHR. And if it has remote start specify that.

As far as I know all years use the same circuit board, the only difference is how many button holes in the case.

15114374 is the fob number , with remote start. Look for code AP3 on the sticker inside your glove box.

Just a FYI. There are 3 different remotes for the 2010 HHR. (sorry, I don't have the part #'s right now)
3 button for the standard trans. models (has no remote start function)
4 button for the automatic trans. models (has remote start button)
5(6)button for the panel HHR. 2 extra buttons for the rear doors.

Depending on which HHR the OP has will determine which remote they need.

One more thing to throw in, if it started life as a rental I believe none of those had remote start, so they would be a different fob.

AP3 does not mean the same thing after 2009. All fobs have remote start, the case might not have a button for it. Panic + Lock = remote start.

After 2009 Check in the Driver Customization Menu for an option to enable/disable Remote Start; the option is absent if the car was not built with it.

All Genuine GM fob circuit boards have the contacts for Lock, Unlock, Panic, RS, some have the rear door contacts for Panel, Some have a contact for the trunk. ALL of them will work with HHR.

I recommend getting a Genuine GM fob. Some of the knock off fobs don't work properly. The knock offs have an LED on the circuit board.
