Has anyone had their transmission be extremely balky to shift into reverse or other gears. I really had to slam mine into reverse to get it to go into gear. There was always much grinding when doing that. I only had 20000 mi on my car. I took it to the dealer and and they fixed it under warrenty they told me that the output shaft on the transmission were bad and they replaced them. That weekend I changed my oil and now it looks like there has been a small rectangular hole cut out of the transmission housing. I don't have a picture right now but I will make one soon. Does everyone have that hole? I don't remember it being there from previous sessions of changing my oil.

I would have to see the hole to be able to look for it. Never an issue with mine. SHifts great.
