Hello... I am attempting to activate Remote Start on my 2009 panel.... I understand that I have to buy the hood latch to implement this for starters. I am getting information that says that the connector for the sensor should be on the forward lamp HARNESS, connector x 121. I do not see it on my harness and have looked all over. I have read that all of the wiring harnesses are the same, but I see no connector for the sensor... I have wiring harness part# 25994666/ Could some that has OEM remote start, PLEASE TAKE A PICTURE AND SHOW ME THIS CONNECTION?

Before you start searching for that connection have you checked the DIC to see if RS is activated?

That is: can it be activated? If the option is not in the DIC you won't be able to do it. As far as I am aware 2008 is the only year that it is easily implemented.

I don't think the wire is there. It is pretty easy to just ground the purple wire near the BCM, that makes it so you don't need the latch switch and if you really want that you can run a wire to a hood switch (just like the after market).
