Aftermarket HHR repair manuals

Has anyone found repair manuals for the HHR? Other than the Helm's manuals?
Sometimes owning a "unique" vehicle has it's drawbacks.

I have the Helm manual and it leaves a lot to be desired. For example, when I removed the antenna from the roof for the paint job, the manual shows a screw, a cone shaped washer, and the mount. No instruction which way the washer goes, and it has "Note - Unplug antenna" (glad they told me ) I wasn't sure if it unscrewed, or pulled apart so after giving it a good tug it did pull apart. Luckily it didn't unscrew because I would have broken it. Removing the door window weatherstrip, the book has you remove the whole inner door panel. Not necessary, it comes out with the inner panel in place. There's a lot more like that but it's better than nothing.

Leon - What year does your Helm Manual cover ? I have been waiting for the new Helm to come out that would include the 2.0 L turbomotor, but I don't think that it is released yet.

Know what you mean about the Helm manuals. Got the set for my wife's '03 Trailblazer and found out two things; 1) I'm not nearly as smart as I thought I was and, 2) There are people that are too smart!! Need a college course just to read the thing. Thanks for the reply.

The problem with alot of those aftermarket manuals is some of the "generic" or "platform only" info they have. My shop is just down the street from Haynes publications and I know a bunch of the people there, including some technical writers. They do a great job with what they have to work with but it will never quite be on par with the factory stuff. Our factory stuff is all online now and is updated weekly, sometimes more often than that.

The manual I have does not include the 2.0 motor. Not sure what other years it covers, I'll check later.

Nice deal to have that info at hand. Those programs are expensive, aren't they?
