Alarm sensitivity

Is there anyway to increase the sensitivity of the factory alarm. Where I live there are alot of bums who like to steal and would like the alarm to go off before the doors open. If anyone could help it would be appreciated thanks.

Welcome to the Club and Continue to Enjoy the Ride.
You will have to go with an Aftermarket Alarm.

A good alarm shop could hook a shock and glass break sensor to the door open trigger that would make it go off if you hit the car or broke the window. The price is about $150 to do this.

A complete aftermarket alarms is better but it's going to cost $350 minimum just to match the remote start capabilities of the stock unit.
