Just picked up an '06 LS. 2.2, auto, Sandstone. Having fun so far. Added a Tiki air freshener and a chrome exhaust tip... LOL.
Can't afford a set of wheels for it right now and can't find any 16" after market wheel covers.
My plans are to go with a retro look. I'm thinking Smoothie rims (if I can find them) and a lowering kit. Haven't decided what to do about the paint scheme but I need to break up the body color, probably just some pinstriping for now.
I'll look at a lot of pictures before I do anything major.
Also, I need to see what I can do to bump up the performance to it.
So any suggestions and pics you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

A little background. I play lead guitar in a couple of bands. I've owned several hot rods and customs so I'm not totally new to the car scene. I currently have a '65 Thunderbird that I'm doing as a mild custom.

Welcome Donzie...the cool thing about an LS is that it's a blank canvas for mods. If I just wanted to have my way with HHR I'd start with an LS and go crazy. Have a bunch of fun with it.
