Any rumors on HHR 2012 Yet ??
GM fleet sales is still indicating a May 27 end of production for the HHR, maybe sooner if needed parts run out. Retooling at the Ramos Arizpe plant has already begun for the new product lines to be built there. So on or about May 27, raise a glass to the noble HHR, long may they run.
So by saying new,I assume you are refering to an unsold 2010 model. Last years model,(and last year of SS)but still considered new.
Just found a Dealer that says he might be able to change the last Stock HHR order still in process to fit my needs !!!!!
So .... I gave him my Custom Order and he's working on it.
WOW ... Wouldn't that be Neat ....
That is to get a Brand New 2011 ... Almost last off the line .. To my Specs..
We'll See .......
PS... Dear God, Please don't let them leave out to many parts !!!
cast a wide net
If you are willing to travel and wait for your prey, you can probably pounce on a low-mileage used HHR with exactly what you want at a fair price. I just found a reference saying that the 2LT wasn't made with the Getrag manual transmission after 2008 (girlfriend and I have 2007 and 2006 manual 2LTs, respectively). Short of wanting something that didn't exist even as a factory special order, you CAN get what you want. I used to think that buying used meant you couldn't get the color you wanted. Not any more! Now, with autotrader.com and other national outlets, the pool of available used cars is bigger and so is a potential buyer's ability to get exactly what he wants. You used to do this by special-ordering a new car. That and lower used-car reliability were reasons to buy a new car in the past. Neither applies now.
The nice lady at 1-800-950 chevy told me no ordering, that ended in Dec. The production is supposed to end in May . They can pull up all the hhr's on lots I was interested in a panel, she found several NEW '10 SS panels leftover on lots still for sale! Give them a call...John
Appears the nice lady was right.... My hopes for an existing dealer order position to place my custom order were just Dashed.....
Worth a try though...
Current deals on existing LS and 1/2LT are fabulous.
Cash Back on LS $3500.
Cash back on LT Up to $4000 depending on Dealer.
Then in my case I just got a $1500 cash back offer from GM separate for $1500 on HHR
Then I Have $1000 Cash back from my GM Card Credit toward a purchase.
All these add up to $6500 Cash back off MSRP on and LT and $6000 on an LS.
WHOAAAA....I must be Dreamin.
Now if I could only find one close enough to what I want.
