Talking

I will be within 75 miles or closer October 4-5 to SoCal location. Maybe can help day before or after. I'm an experienced pick and pull (our self serve part junk yard) guy.

See how it goes. I'm up for an adventure.

already contacted corporate and they were absolutely no help. they opened and "high priority case file" for my situation and gave me a case number and assigned a "detective" to my case. The specialist contacted me and was just as lost as i am lmfao he told me there isnt much he can do until GM is done with their strike

man thats still over a 2 hour drive with LA traffic, id hate to take 5+ hours from someones day just for a part that originally cost $100

i supposedly found a salvage part in Delaware, so ill keep everyone updated onto how it turns out.

Cool

Parts is part.

I plan to be in Lancaster which is approx one hour from Adelanto.

Post on here if things don't work out with Delaware.

"You don't have the wrong part you have the wrong car." - Bob D RIP old salvage yard guy.

It's not a junk yard it's a treasure trove. I'm amazed at the CA cars that wear out long before they rust out vs. New England vehicles.

Sourced a part from a mom n pop shop in Delaware, came in last week. They took it off a totaled SS. Hopefully this one lasts me until gm does a post production run. Thank you for everybody’s feedback and willingness to help !

Perfect, keep on GM to produce what they said they would, after the strike, they should get it done.
Up here no parts available to our dealerships
