Does anyone know how to disable the daytime running lights?

to the forum!

Give this thread a read, it's a slightly touchy subject, so some folks might weigh in with negative discourse.

One caveat, in some states, the vehicle codes have been modified to make disabling the DRL's on vehicles so equipped a violation subject to a fine or "Fix It" ticket.

So you might want to pull up your state's Code online.

Welcome to the forum.
I am a BIG fan of DRLs every time I see a car on a rainy day that doesn't have their lights on because they blend in to the road. You would be surprised how little the color effects this phenomenon. I am of a school that all new cars should have some type of DRLs.

I just turn on my fog lights. Kills the DRL's every time.

I pulled the fuse under the hood. It's number something in the 30s. Every other function works fine (auto on, etc...)
