We had an old '61 Ford Falcon.
There were some cool fender/hood chrome accents on that car - "Falcon" script, and a profile of a flying falcon.

They would probably look cool on your HHR, If you're into that sort of stuff.
Although the Ford haters would "have a bird" over it. (Though I haven't seen the Ford hate on this site).

Check ebay if you're interested. I just "won" a chrome hood ornament for mine.

Thanks for the idea.

I have lost count of the birds that this car has eaten. Add to those a raccoon or two.

Had a dove do a dive into the roof just to the rear of the windshield this spring. It lifted off straight up from my perspective then did a nose over. BAM! I pulled over at the next quick mart on the highway.
That made a horrible noise, but no dent......
