This is true on rear disc brakes. Moany times the rear calipers do not adjust and more fluid is needed to take up the slack.

Out adjustment rear disc are common on most GM cars including the HHRS SS.

Not enough people use the e brake to adjust it up.


I looked at my post and failed to mention the E brake so I correctred the post.

If you don't beleieve this ask any Trans Am owner with a frozen e brake how high his pedal is.

It is no different than not adjusting the rear drums correctley. More fluid is needed and the pedal travel increases.

I tried the "back up and stop" a few times, and I don't really see a difference.... maybe the rear drums and pads should be replaced? ugh
