Lee, a seperate how-to thread would be great for new members. BTW...all this time and I had no idea that contraption was even there...

To be honest, I just learned about it a few weeks ago. While at the parts dept at my dealer, I heard some one order one. I forgot about it till yesterday when I read this post. Then, while waiting for my wife and kids at a store, I played around and removed it.

Which raises a previously discussed idea.

Why not have a topic thread for JUST DIY and how-to's?? After, Lee for example, posts this and all the discussion is completed, the MOD's "stickey" it to a dedicated thread and no additional posts are allowed......maybe just for additional info related to the original how-to.

I need to get one myself but haven't checked any local parts stores. I have pulled it out and put it back in with no problem.
