As Deb says it takes 5 minutes to change it and as Lee found out 2 hours to pick up all the stuff that falls out.....

I looked at the cabin air filter on mine the other day and noticed that the filter was installed the exact opposite to the picture in Lee's post.

Mine had the air flow arrow pointing to the floor. Lee's is pointing towards the windshield.

Which one is correct (or does it really matter)?

I don't remember from when I changed mine a while back, but it seems like the arrow should point down since the air is coming from above.

Down, it pulls air from out side [from coul]when not on max or recycle. I always have leaves & sticks,grass in there when I ck it.

As oneton said...it should point downward. If any of yours look like mine did when I removed it...there were leaves stuck in it that came in from the outside. When looking at the side with debris on it, you should notice that the arrow points downward.
