Weathertech the Best

The Weathertech visors are the best on the market and they have light tint one also for those that are concerned about vison issues. I have the EGR on my HHR at less than 1/2 the price of Weathertech's and they work well enough for the money.

I have the weathertechs, took longer to get out of the box and plastic bag than to install! I've had weathertechs on my '00 Sonoma since 2004 and never had a problem.

Words of warning.....While the EGR in-channels on my HHR look and work great, the rears on my Equinox fell out. They have a sticky tape on them that holds them in the channel while the front are held in by tension. Just a warning mind you.

As you slide the visors into the channel, you peel the tape off (that would be the red stuff). Next you close the windows for a day to let them get seated. I could tell you more if my SS ever gets built and delivered.

I originally got mine with the factory tape on around the windows vents. I liked the way they looked-they covered the side windows and gave it a chopped top effect. But I did not like the fact that they were taped on the paint. Most of the inchannel ones leave the little window on the back doors uncovered, which I did not like. Then, I found Weathertech that have an opening in the rear visors so they cover the entire window, plus they are inchannel. Installed in a few minutes, and actually cover more of the glass so you can leave the windows open a little more without rain coming in. Personally, I dont think they povide the same chopped top look, since they are completely over the windows, but they are much cleaner looking. And cost about 85 bucks. Available smoke or clear.
