I am reminded of an old Woody Guthrie song - the title of which escapes me - but here are some of the lyrics:

California is a garden of Eden
A paradise to live in or to see
But believe it or not
You won't find it so hot
If you ain' got the dough-re-me

If you ain't got the dough-re-me, boy
If you ain't got the dough-re-me
You better go back to beautiful Texas
Oklahoma Kansas Georgia Tennessee

I think Woody wrote that song back around the Great Depression era.

I'm glad we no longer have front plates and SMOG emissions.... I see alot of cars around here that pour black smoke out like diesels do when accelerated. Front tags/plates would just make it a pain for everyone to get new tags/plates.

california should be given back to mexico. They WANT it & I am sure Most Americans are not socialists & would be happy if it were gone. The socialist republic of california has never given the U.S. anything but a pain in the, well you know. Just my opinion, and since I don't live in ca I am still entitled to it.

Most of the rednecks are afraid of earthquakes, so instead they live in tornado alley! where the weather tries to get them about 10X as much as earthquakes.
There, thats my tired, intolerant rant for the month!
