CNET reviews HHR

Don't get me wrong, I love my HHR but isn't CNET all about technology?
From their site.......
If you look at it in this light, they are pretty on target for the HHR. No onboard navigation available, On-Star is nothing new, and while the stereo is nice enough, it really isn't anything special. None of this is unusual for a car in this price range. If you just look at the technology, the HHR is just what the article said, average. (Remember, by technology they are referring to a/v, data, navigation, not automotive technology.)
So if someone is looking for a car with lots of bells and whistles, the HHR would NOT be the car to buy. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go outside and give my two HHR's great big hugs!

I'm not going to dignify the troll on that board by giving my response, I just wonder if nobody pointed out to Mr. "Not For Tall People" with his 6-foot frame and arthritic knees that there's a power driver adjustment on the driver's seat?

CNET sucks. It always has and always will. I am a bit of a geek myself. I read reviews on cell phones, digital cameras, laptops, etc. all the time, and I like to be up to date with the latest and greatest.
Not even those reviews are legitimate to me. Yes, I know they are opinions, but when you look up consumer reports, it just happens to be one of the first sites that come up and people to tend to regard them as professional reviews. It's ridiculous. I would never, ever trust CNET's opinions. It's okay that they do not like the HHR. They are in no position to be reviews cars in the first place. It's the level of knowledge they lack when presenting supposed pros and cons that really does leave me speechless.

Well, the fact remains, you're never going to please everyone, and everyone does have their own opinion. This guy clearly doesn't care for the looks of the HHR, while the rest of us find it unique in loving the looks of the HHR there will be folks who like the "cookie cutter" style of all the other cars.
Personally, we'd love to see car manufactures come out with different looking vehicles, but then, maybe most don't have people with the imagination Chevy has had. We thought the PT Cruiser was pretty cute when it came out, but hubby won't buy a Chrysler product. We did test drive one, very sluggish! Still think it looks cute though.
