Code ?

what is code P2271 ? The car has been running great and all maintenance up to date. I came home the other night and went the back way into the driveway ( rough and rutted, theres a big boulder in center that protrudes a but and hit somewhere in center to rear but nothing bad just a love tap. Today I went to the store and it came on driving back home.... I looked and see no damage to anything as well as no marks where it possibly bumped??

So I just got it up and crawled under, cant find a single mark of where anything bumped, all O2 sensors look good with no signs of damage, the exhaust is in great shape... so just baffles me it popped a check engine light with this code? no damaged wires, everything is in immaculate condition. So would an O2 sensor just go bad overnight sitting as there was no lights when I came home the other night and just popped up today on the way home from the store. It runs fine, no issues. I erased the code to see if it pops back on later. The weather has been cold 30-40 in evenings and 50-70 during the day.... sometimes it may be in the mid 30s all day , mother nature is being bi-Polar lately.

It might have been triggered by the impact of the driveway stone. If cel is off , don’t worry about it. If it’s on, check for exhaust leaks, damage to the catalytic converter, which you already have. I’m thinking it was just the bump shook some debris into the sensor.

Ive no idea, still whatever was on it when I bought it a few years back.... I did the VVT , spark plugs and cleaned TB back then and regular oil changes since. I might need to put some new plugs in it but she is still getting excellent mpgs !
