Dealer Failed Again!

Thumbs down Dealer Failed Again!

Well.....the HHR has been in for the third time to fix paint damage on the front bumper that was on it when I bought it new. The first two tries were performed by the used car touch up guy. BS if you ask me, it was new. Each time something began to pop through the clear after a couple of months. So, third time I got them to have the GM body shop repaint it. Left it there 4 days, they were taking off the bumper and completely repainting, so I thought this would be great. Problem solved. Wrong!! They didn't fix a lot of the pitting damage from the last failed attempts, left horrible sanding marks all over it, had places where the silver looked like it had lifted, and a big area on top where the metallic had floated badly. Bottom line, it was very poor quality. So I went back today and voiced my unhappiness and they are ordering a brand new bumper cover. Man I hope they can get that right.

I can't believe that it was allowed to leave the shop. I just can't win with this dealer. They can't do a good job at anything on my cars!! Just had to vent. Anyone else have this kind of trouble with their dealer?

Yes there is and I'm going to take it to them for all of the other issues that can be covered under warranty. I don't know how to take it somewhere else for the paint since it was an agreement by this particular dealer. I guess I could try to get GM involved.

I bought this car to get out of having problems. I wish I could get to that point. I want to love it again!

The GM website has a customer contact area. I contacted then RE some severe front end noise. they worked with me and my dealer and got it fixed.

They were extremely helpful......
