Do you have a disposable camera in your car?
i think it's kind of stupid that digital photos are not admissible (if it's true for everywhere didn't bother to check) that is the future of photography and they need to embrace it. Yes, people can photoshop things out, but any good person who knows how to use photoshop (should have one employed with the law) can usually spot a fake, and if you can't do it with your naked eye there are way techniques to use to spot a fake.
To go to the other end of the spectrum though, then i guess it's a good thing that they trust film so much since that can't be modified at all and is 100% accurate, oh wait it's not. Until I moved the last time, i had a machine that i could access anytime and burn digital photos to film, and they turn out looking just like regular film. Photoshop a few things here and there and burn to film, and voila new photos.
I know that's an extreme example, but i'm just trying to make a point. Yes photos can be photoshopped, but i can guarantee that most people are not good enough at it to make a true fake.

I was involved in a 5 car where i was the second car from the front. The 3rd car hit me but went beside me and the fourth car then hit me but stopped and then the 3rd car got in line back behind me. the police said it was two different accidents. I took pictures with a disposable camera and when i looked at them i found a trailer hitch square in the hood of the fourth car which proved that car hit me while the police said no.......i gave the pictures to my insurance company and they said they woul pursue the issue. A few months later the final outcome was the guy in the fifth car who started the accident was responsible for all cars involved. The pictues did prove beyond a doubt who hit who.
In an extreme case you could give a digital camera to the head officer at the sceen, (if you believed you had evidence photos), and have downloaded at the police station and get chip, camera back, proveing no alterations were made. Just a thought
Thanks for the info.I always have a digital camera when I have my show cars out.Besides I need to get some cameras for my body shop so they can take progress pictures of stripping and painting my 62.
i have my phone cam. i guess an film style is the best idea to have. i was involved in bender last year. officer charged no one. 1st car hit me while it was attempting left at light going opposite direction than me, hit me in drivers side rear. 2nd car hit that car from behind. neither co wanted to pay me. i called the dept of insurance. got paid 8 mons later. i was not at fault but my ins increased $250 a yr . i guess that will be for at least 3 yrs. so YES i should get a camera. unfortunatly , after being the victom in 2 other benders where people told lies about what happened, now i trust NO one.
