Not that all service departments are the most awesome people ever - I do appreciate that they do have a difficult job at times.

I came across that article that seems to make a lot of sense. And I loved the last line. :)

What kind of lousy service garage customer are you? | Driving

Great find whopper!

Put myself through college working at a Firestone Store, full service back then(tires, brakes, engine work, transmission work, etc.), and I dealt with more than my fair share of "that guys" and "that gals".

Still wake up at 3am steaming mad after dreaming I was back on Firestone's payroll and dealing with one of "those" customers.

I still am on the Firestone payroll (37 years so far) We still do full service at our store... And yes we have every one of those customers! I could write a bunch more on the subject too.

Wow, 37 years on the payroll of "The Big F" as we used to call it, honestly didn't know there are still full service stores out there.

My old place of employment fell victim to the bulldozers in 1999, progress waits for no one.

My wife tried to pull the empty gas tank on the dealer this morning (after arranging for pickup last Friday). I "politely" informed her the dealership is 34 miles in each direction and a 1/4 tank would not be acceptable......a little debate, but she finally relented and took it to the corner and filled it. She had just returned and the dealer representative appeared.

Women!!!!!!!! But I still love her.
