Unhappy door rubbers curling up,is this normal

we have a 2009 hhr ,bought new in mar/09 &5900km on it. the door rubber attached to the step sill are curling and can be seen from outside of car. all 4 doors are like this.they have been like this since new,i don't feel this is normal.am going in for first service next week and would like to be prepared to be armed with knowledge rather than be in the dark. if anyone else out there has a similar problem , please post and thanks in advance.other than that we are pleased with our purchase.
regards&later KEWATIN

I'm having the same problem with the weatherstrip that goes from the top around the back door. The dealer has replaced both sides twice, and I dont have much confidence he has solved the problem yet. also a 2009 model

All I know is that they are just fine in my 2007 model. My guess would be that there is a different supplier than mine had, and I wouldn't want something bad replaced with the same bad part, but that's me maybe.

according to my dealer, they changed suppliers after the bankruptcy and they are all coming in garbage now. This does not mean I'm letting them off the warranty hook.

When you wash your car do you wipe down the rubber seals with silicone? If not get a can of silicone spray, spray it into a rag and wipe down all the rubber seals. Be careful not to get it on the paint or it will collect dirt.
