If it's not a flex-fuel HHR , run an E20 mix...
If it is a Flex-fuel HHR, E85 is best, if you don't mind the decreased MPG...

corollaries ,hmm I have never ever heard of such a word, & had to look it up...
https://www.google.com/#q=corollaries+definition

They even used our LNF engine for testing this at MIT
The 'map', (graph), on page 12 shows how at the E20 level, that this is a great blend for everyone...
http://energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2...ood_2014_o.pdf

If you understand the following, you will understand how great an Ethanol blend is for your 'buggy'...
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bwxy...t?pref=2&pli=1

Really good testing on our 'buggys' engine:
Good info on pages 17 & 18 shows why an Ethanol blend rocks....
Page 42 points out that there is ZERO knock at the E47 level.
Page 50 is AWESOME - Several phenomema contribute to the increase in efficiency in our DI LNF engine & the generally increasing trend with fuel ETHANOL content.
On page 67, it points out that thru MIT testing on our LNF engine, that E47 is the 'sweet' blend to use.

He told me in Atlanta, if your vehicle has a FlexFuel badge, you can ride in the HOT lane?, even if only one person in the vehicle. Works for me, I'll go two hundred miles out of the way, to avoid going into Atlanta.
He's going to find out the hard way that is not true at all.

I don't know, I've never heard of it. The young man seemed knowledgeable on the subject, and he had twenty bucks in his paypal account. Which is really, all that matters.

Thanks for links Dave, great reads! I'm no rocket scientist but it seems e47 is the way to go! I can't believe the amount of advance you're running. Sheesh, that's impressive. There aren't too many differences between your race and street tunes. It's really quite amazing all you've done simply by fiddling with the tune.

Hats off to you sir.

Where did this come from?

You have to remember that Ethanol is a 'slow' burning fuel...
Development over 7 years of 'fine' tuning...
The 'Opitmum-Spark-Tables' are the 'key' tables that make it all work...

Are 'buggys' don't need much to improve them.
1. Engine mod = K&N air intake system, as their 'tube' removes the stock intake restriction.
2. Exhaust mod = 'coring' the 2nd cat, as this removes the stock exhaust restriction.
3. Suspension mod = TTech engine mount to 'plant' the power.
4. Ethanol = an E47 Ethanol 'tune' to make monster torque/power.
Just these simple mods will get you low 13s in the 1/4 mile at the dragstrip.
Add slicks because of wrong-wheel-drive & you're in the mid 12s.

Not my graph, but another HHR SS on 'corn-whiskey'...
