Have you looked at the coolant level under the pressure cap?
Does the cooling fan run, starting at about 219F?
If the fan does run and the coolant is full then the water pump must be bad.
If the engine is also vibrating like crazy the balance shaft chain is broken.

The warning gets displayed at around 250F, that is when internal damage starts and the Dexcool is degraded and needs to be replaced..
The Owner Manual tells you how to read the digital coolant temperature. The gauge on the dash is useless.

If donbrew went any further and looked under the hood, it would be the one hour minimum diagnostic fee$!

Just look up under the passenger side behind the front tire look for any coolant leaking
